Interest Groups

Neshoba's many interest groups provide an additional opportunity to expand intellectually, explore spiritually, and interact socially that goes beyond our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. Most groups meet monthly, either at member's homes or at Neshoba. All Members are invited and encouraged to participate in one or more interest groups, and friends are always welcome. Please click the contact addresses below or contact the church office at 266-2626 for more information.

Interest Groups

Choir ([email protected])

Joining the choir not only adds so much to our worship life, but it is a great way to meet people. The choir meets for warmup each Sunday morning at 10am and rehearses every Thursday night at 7pm (except the second week).

Men’s Group ([email protected])

The Men’s Group is open to all men 18 years of age or older. Both Members and Friends are welcome to be a part of our fellowship.

The Men’s Group typically meets monthly at a member’s home for a potluck supper and discussion.  Periodically during the year, the monthly meeting is substituted by an event in the area – e.g. a sporting event, a church event, a community activity, or an annual retreat.  Please see the calendar for specifics on this month’s Men’s Group gathering. The Men's Group meets on the first Monday of each month for potluck supper and discussion, and on the third Thursday morning for breakfast.

Women Of Neshoba Encourage (WONE) ([email protected])

Women of Neshoba Encourage is an open group for those who resonate with the feminine spirit in the church community. This group meets periodically for social gatherings, shared meals, and occasional projects to benefit the church and/or the wider community. Please see the Calendar for the most up-to-date information on topics and location.

Wolf Pack

Neshoba Wolf Pack is a group of volunteers that help with special projects around the church. If you would like to help with projects like planting flowers, gardening, moving furniture, or general maintenance that would require a few hours on a specific day, we invite you to join this group. Please contact Walt Holmes at [email protected] to be part of the group.

Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) ([email protected])

The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) is an organization dedicated to networking Pagan-identified Unitarian Universalists (UUs), educating people about Paganism, promoting interfaith dialogue, developing Pagan liturgies and theologies, and supporting Pagan-identified UU religious professionals.  Please check the calendar for the next scheduled meeting.
